CSX - Cactus UniView Supervisory sustem

A Cactus Uniview process system is easy to learn and it has the capacity to handle the most demanding tasks. The system is extremely sturdy and fast. And it’s flexible enough to accommodate large and small plants.

Reliable, but still accessible.

All features can be accessed throughout the entire system at all workstations. This is also the case for on-call stations that operate via all the existing types of communications connections. With the same high level of security. All the features and/or parts of the system can be equipped with authorization checks that target certain individuals or personnel categories. Here are a few of the many options and programme packages included in the system:

Operator features – everything in one place

The user interface is strictly object-oriented. By clicking on an object, you gain access to all the maintenance and system features, such as alarm statistics, database, property menus, and historic data. This simplifies the process for operators.

Information system – simplifies operations

The Cactus Uniview Information system makes it easy to gather different kinds of information for the various process objects in one place. This information can consist of descriptions of the various objects, run times, instructions for maintenance and operations, and your own notes. All this information can be accessed and processed in a regular web browser.

Measurement data storage – images, graphs or reports

The system has a high capacity for the long-term storage of measurement data. All the data collected by the system is stored, and can be displayed in the form of images, diagrams, graphs or reports.

Graph presentation

All analogue measurement data as well as calculated values, along with logged emergencies and other incidents, can be displayed as graphs. It is also possible to include additional random sample values in the same graph. Up to 8 different variables can be shown at the same time.

Reports – all the process data you need

These reports provide you with a great overview of your operations. They show data such as run time, chemical dosage, energy consumption, and any leakage that may have occurred. You can elect to have daily, weekly, monthly or annual reports made up.

Emergencies and incidents – always in the thick of things

Emergencies and incidents are presented in separate lists to provide an overview with optimum clarity. Each list has extensive search options for different objects, times, variable names, emergency classes and substations. There is also a highly appreciated feature that provides operators with a direct connection to suggested response procedures and flow charts for an optimum overview.

Leakage detection – huge cost-reduction potential!

Networks are divided into consumption zones where measurement data is collected by way of direct or dial-up access from water towers and flow meters. The system provides efficient support features to assess and present any water loss that may occur. Abnormal consumption rates are presented in the form of reports, emergency alarms, and as colour-coded emergency zones in process images. All flow and level data is stored for years and can be shown using the graph presentation tool as well.
