Follow-ups

All data pertaining to your operations and the commands issued by your operators is collected and stored. This data can then be used by operators to analyse incidents or system failures. It is also possible to send data to other existing systems, such as the passenger information system.

Loggning & uppspelning

Loggning

Log and replay

All traffic activities are logged on a continuous basis. A typical log file contains five million events. However, this data is archived once a day and the data can be saved for future retrieval as long as you like. The log application includes statistic report features that allow you to assess the number of events within a certain period of time, etc.

The replay feature allows you to replay logged data against “historic” track pictures, so that operators are able to re-enact what has taken place. Events can be replayed sequence by sequence, making it possible to review every aspect of the incident on screen and in the log. This is an indispensable tool for incident analysis and troubleshooting.

The replay and the analysis can take place at the operator’s regular workstation, and by way of a remote access station. In this way, Cactus UniView is always able to provide its customers with operations analysis reports and investigations. In the event of ambiguous events, where several different suppliers might be involved, the replay feature in combination with the different system logs can always be applied to obtain clear-cut results.

Tidhållningsrapporter

Punctuality reports

All the parties involved—from the railway operators, the dispatchers to the passengers themselves—obviously want railway traffic to be as punctual as possible. In this respect, the system can create follow-up reports that demonstrate the actual flow of traffic.

Tåggrafer

Train graphs

The train graph is an important tool for making life easier for the traffic manager. The graph shows the trains’ movements in relation to the timetable. It can be used to show trains’ movements historically or in real time and view potential conflict situations. It is also a helpful tool for studying capacity utilisation on a stretch of track.
